The Montgomery ISD Community Services Department has been created to promote a positive partnership between families, educators and the community in order to ensure the academic achievement and social/emotional growth of all MISD students. The Community Services Department works closely with our campus counselors, providing resources and support needed for them to best serve their students and their families.
With the collaboration of campus counselors and outreach services in the area, the Community Services Department provides support for our homeless and foster care students, as well as our pregnant teens through our parenting and pregnant teen program. The Community Services Department also oversees our district's mentor program, Project Impact, connecting local community members with secondary students that could benefit from a mentor relationship.
