Montgomery ISD believes that an informed community is a powerful community. In an effort to educate our community and maintain our commitment to transparency and collaboration, Montgomery ISD is launching the “Did You Know?” Campaign.
Beginning in October 2022, Montgomery ISD is sharing information regarding how Montgomery ISD is funded through a combination of the state’s finance system and local contributions and how that compares with other Texas school districts. This campaign will include facts about the state’s current school finance system and its implications on our district as well as information regarding your property taxes.
Included in this informational initiative will be videos from some of Montgomery ISD's leaders and MISD Board Members as well as graphics with charts and graphs that will share necessary information with our community stakeholders. These materials are created to be shared, as MISD prepares to share its Legislative Platform to the State Legislature when the begin their 2023 session.
