After a thorough evaluation of the district’s current enrollment trends and the anticipated growth in the Montgomery area, Montgomery ISD is discontinuing accepting requests for Limited Open Enrollment for new families not residing within district boundaries wishing to attend a Montgomery ISD school beginning in the 2022-2023 school year.

This decision will not impact current Limited Open Enrollment students and applications for open enrollment will still be accepted for the following individuals:

  •  Students currently enrolled as LOE students
  •  Younger siblings of current LOE students to ensure families are kept together
  • Children of Montgomery ISD employees that choose to enroll their students in the district for the benefit of their family

Limited Open Enrollment families will still be required to complete renewal paperwork each spring and follow the agreement that all LOE families make regarding transportation, attendance and discipline.
