Tim Chesser named Principal of Montgomery Jr. High
Montgomery ISD is excited to announce that Tim Chesser has been named the next Principal of Montgomery Junior High School!
Chesser brings more than two decades of experience in education including 17 years at the junior high level. He has spent the past two years serving as the associate principal at Montgomery High School. During that time, he has played a key role in building strong systems, supporting teachers, and creating a positive campus culture through initiatives like Positive Behavior Intervention Strategies and the “Be A Bear” core values framework.
Mr. Chesser shared, “I am truly honored to serve as the next principal of Montgomery Junior High School. I look forward to working alongside our outstanding staff, building strong relationships with our students and families, and continuing the proud tradition that makes MJH such a special place. I am excited to listen, learn, and lead in a way that supports every student’s success.”
Mr. Chesser will officially begin his role this summer as he prepares for the 2026–27 school year.
