Montgomery Independent School District

MISD was officially established by the state of Texas, SB 441, on March 16, 1925.

We know there is a rich history in our district and hope to include as many voices as possible to celebrate the centennial and preserve the greatness that continues to be Montgomery ISD.

We want to hear from former MISD students, teachers and staff members about your experience in MISD schools. What year did you graduate? What was memorable about your time in the district? Did you have a favorite teacher? What activities did you enjoy? Do you have any interesting facts to share about how things are the same or different since you were part of MISD? Do you have maps, photos or memorabilia that could be a part of our centennial project?

Montgomery ISD plans to compile the stories you share into a historic timeline of the district that we will unveil during the centennial year 2025. The timeline will be housed on the district website for everyone to enjoy, with the hope that MISD students and teachers from every generation will be inspired to add to it.
