Math K-12 Instructional Materials Adoption
Montgomery ISD is conducting a mathematics instructional materials adoption to be implemented during the 2026–2027 school year.

In alignment with House Bill 1605, MISD is reviewing instructional materials that have completed the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Instructional Materials Review and Approval (IMRA) process. This statewide process ensures materials are TEKS-aligned, accurate, and grounded in research-based instructional practices. Materials that meet IMRA criteria are approved by the State Board of Education (SBOE) and made available for district consideration. As part of the IMRA process, all proposed instructional materials are evaluated for both quality and suitability by trained reviewers before being approved as High Quality Instructional Materials. For more information about the State Board of Education review and approval process, please visit the SBOE's Instructional Materials Review and Approval website.
MISD is currently reviewing the following SBOE-approved high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) for mathematics:
- Bluebonnet Learning Math (K-Algebra II)
- Savvas enVision+ (K-Algebra II)
- STEMscopes Texas (K-Algebra I)
- Cosenza & Associates Algebraic Reasoning (Algebraic Reasoning)
- McGraw Hill Texas Math (Geometry, Algebra II)
- Agile Mind Texas Math (Geometry, Algebra II)
- Kiddom Texas Math (Geometry, Algebra II)
Members of the MISD community may review the instructional materials under consideration using the link below:
