Career and Technical Education (CTE) in Montgomery ISD embraces quality instruction opportunities and experiences to prepare all students for the challenges of post secondary education, a globally competitive workplace and active citizenship. We provide students with various avenues to develop an individual pathway for academic and career-oriented instruction.

CTE courses are a great way for students to prepare for the highly technological and competitive workplace of the 21st Century. Students receive the maximum benefits from their electives by using those courses to focus on career pathways. CTE students also benefit from the program's partnerships with area businesses though the CTE Advisory Committee. The committee provides students the opportunity to spend time in relevant, work-based learning programs as paid and unpaid interns. CTE provides dynamic courses taught by instructors who stay abreast of current business and industry trends, as well as hands-on learning through professionals working in each field.
