MISD Names Dr. Michelle Hall Principal of SCE
Montgomery ISD is excited to announce the selection of Dr. Michelle Hall as the next principal of Stewart Creek Elementary School. The Montgomery ISD Board of Trustees approved the recommendation during its June 9 meeting.
Dr. Hall was selected following a competitive screening and interview process of several highly qualified candidates. Throughout the process, she demonstrated a strong commitment to student success, a passion for building positive school cultures, and a vision for fostering meaningful partnerships among students, staff, and families.
Dr. Hall brings 20 years of experience in education, having served as a teacher, technology innovation coach, assistant principal, and principal. Most recently, she served as principal at A.R. Turner Elementary in Willis ISD, where she led efforts to strengthen instructional practices and improve student outcomes, contributing to significant academic gains and an A rating from the Texas Education Agency.
As she prepares to join the Stewart Creek community, Dr. Hall shared her excitement about building upon the campus' strong foundation.
"There is already incredible work taking place at Stewart Creek Elementary," Dr. Hall said. "I look forward to learning from the staff, students, and families who make this school so special, building upon the strengths already in place, and working together to create opportunities for every child to thrive."
Dr. Hall believes schools should be places where students are excited to learn, challenged to reach their greatest potential, and supported by caring adults who are committed to their success. She also values strong partnerships with families and believes parent engagement is essential to creating a thriving school environment.
Dr. Hall will officially begin her role as principal on July 1, 2026.
