Montgomery Elementary has elected a Student Council comprising of representatives from each 3rd & 4th grade class. What a wonderful way to get students involved in leadership opportunities! The MES student council will share students' views on issues involving our school, participate in community service activities, provide student leadership and role models, and represent the student population at our school. Some of the events the MES Student Council will be heading up and participating in are: the recycling program, character lessons, food drive, Angel Tree, Jump Rope for Heart, Camp Kindergarten, Field Day and Black History Month activities.
Meetings: Monthly on the 1st Tuesday of every month in Room 207 from 3:30-4:30 pm. Regular attendance is mandatory.
Officers: Officers are reserved for 4th graders only and are President, Vice President and Secretary.
