Field Trips at MES are exciting, fun, and educational for all students!! In order to make the most of our Field Trip experience, some guidelines are required.

Field Trips are privileges students earn by displaying appropriate behavior. Unacceptable school or classroom behavior can cause the privilege to be denied or require the accompaniment of a parent.

Permission forms provided by your child's teacher must be signed and returned by the appointed date in order to participate in the field trip.

All students are required to use transportation provided by the school to and from the school. Students are not allowed to ride with their parents from the field trip for any reason. Students must return to the school on the school bus.

Field Trips are open ONLY to MES students. (no siblings allowed since the chaperones need to devote their time and attention to their assigned group)

All adults and children must be punctual and follow class rules.

Parents must abide by the grade-level decisions about purchasing items from vendors during field trips.

ALL chaperones must complete a criminal history check prior to the field trip.

Due to bus capacity, chaperones will not be able to ride on the school bus to or from the field trip. All chaperones will need to either drive or carpool.
