Welcome to Montgomery Middle School
Sixth graders in Mrs. Corson's social studies class participated in a communitywide effort to send personal notes of encouragement and support to U.S. military personnel serving in war zones in the Middle East. This project was a partnership with Grammy's Cookie Convoy, an organization that has sent 105,000 cookies to active-duty military personnel in Iraq and Afghanistan. In appreciation for their assistance and support, Marlene Summers, Cookie Convoy founder, presented students with chocolate chip cookies.
