POLICE OFFENSE REPORTS
To obtain a copy of an offense report, your request must be made in writing only. The Public Information Act allows governmental agencies 10 business days to process an open records request. You must provide a mailing address on all requests.
The public information portion contains a summary of the crime, the complainant's name, address, date, time and location of the incident, the responding Officer's name(s), and the incident number.
This is generally all the information needed by your insurance company, if you need the report for a claim.
If you are looking for District open records, please see http://www.misd.org/page/comm.public_information
for Montgomery ISD's public information request requirements.
All requests are processed in the order in which they are received regardless of the means of submission.
