Becky Ford is an entrepreneur and business building coach with Young Living Essential Oils where she educates on how to remove chemicals from the home or workplace and helps put more money in people’s pockets with the concept of “The Four Year Career”. In addition, she is a Director Consultant with the world’s largest networking organization, Business Network International (BNI) where she supports, trains, and educates members in new and existing chapters in the Houston West region.
Becky grew up in Pearland, TX and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1996 with an Accounting degree. She spent many years climbing the corporate ladder with energy companies in downtown Houston, such as Duke Energy, Enron, and Calpine Corporation. Her desire to start a family and be an active participant in her children’s lives led her to leave her corporate job behind and raise her two children, both of which are students in MISD schools. Becky has spent time in various volunteer roles in the community and around the district, such as PTA president of Lone Star Elementary and an active volunteer in the community with her daughter in the National Charity League.
Becky lives with her husband Patrick in Woodforest with their two children Brooklyn, a sophomore at Lake Creek High School, and Ryan, an 8th grader at Oak Hills Junior High. Becky strives to live by her motto and looks for ways to “make a difference” in people’s lives, including her family’s.
David Carwile, DDS is a dentist and the owner of Carwile Dentistry, which is located on Highway 105 just east of Walden Rd. He is a general dentist focusing his treatment skills in the area of Cosmetic and Family dental care with extensive training in dental implant therapy.
Dr. Carwile attended Texas A&M University from 1988-92, and The University of Texas School of Dentistry-Houston graduating in 1996 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Carwile has amassed over 500 hours of continuing dental education much of which is in dental implants and dental rehabilitation.
Dr. Carwile is married to wife Crystal and they have two children, Bailey (20) and Colton (17). They live north of Montgomery on his family’s home place originally obtained by his great grandfather. Dr. Carwile and Crystal are both graduates of Montgomery High School, as is daughter Bailey, who now attends Texas A&M University. Their son Colton is a Junior at Montgomery High. Dr Carwile is proud that four generations of his family have now been educated in the MISD. In his spare time Dr. Carwile enjoys raising show cattle and working with kids in youth agriculture.
Jim Dossey is an attorney / partner at Dossey and Jones PLLC in The Woodlands, concentrating in business law, intellectual property, tax, estate planning, and probate. Jim is a registered patent attorney with the US Patent and Trademark Office and a Certified Public Accountant.
Prior to his legal career, Jim worked in various roles in Bank of America’s Management Rotational Program for 5 years. Jim also worked as a software consultant for 5 years at an oil and gas consulting firm in Houston.
In addition to his law degree, Jim holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas. He also has an MBA in corporate finance and strategy from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Jim lives with his wife, Jennifer, in the April Sound subdivision on Lake Conroe. Jim and Jennifer grew up in Montgomery, both having attended MISD’s single elementary school, intermediate school, junior high school and high school. Jim and Jennifer have three children: two girls, Claire (16) and Phoebe (13) and one son, Noah (10) who all attend Montgomery schools. Jim and his family are active members at the Ark Church in Conroe, Texas.
Patrick O’Neil is the retired Owner/President of O’Neil Consulting Company, An I/T Management Consulting organization specializing in helping company I/T management understand how to better serve the business (es) they support.
Prior to founding his company Patrick worked for the IBM Corporation for over 30 years, starting as technical support for marketing to customers and growing with the company up through management and regional executive of technical marketing support. Late in that career IBM purchased a consulting firm and asked Patrick to help integrate the new (to IBM) business into the folds of the company. Having completed that assignment Patrick retired from IBM and formed his own firm.
Patrick holds a BBA and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Patrick lives with his wife, Sharon, in the Bentwater subdivision of Lake Conroe. Both having grown up in the north, Patrick in Ohio and Sharon in Michigan they were schooled through high school there. Having not been able to have children, Patrick and Sharon raised a niece and then a nephew from schooling through college and marriage. Both are members of Montgomery United Methodist Church and Sharon is very active in the county republican party functions and related charities. Patrick is the lead for a Meals on Wheels group delivering food to people in need around Montgomery, was a lead for Bentwater United Way before the Montgomery County United Way was absorbed into Harris County and is a founding member of MISD Education Foundation.
Phillip E. Moore is the Executive Pastor of The Ark Church in Conroe, Texas. He has served in this position since 2003. Prior to this role, he was on staff at two other churches in Missouri and Texas. Before moving to Texas he lived in London, England for several years, serving as the director for an international church leadership development program. Phillip was born in South Carolina and raised in Oklahoma. He has been fortunate to travel quite a bit around the world.
Phillip received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Phillip has been very involved in the community serving on the 2007 Graduate of Leadership Montgomery County, eight years on the Board of Directors (one as Board Chair). He also serves as the Chaplain for Conroe Police Department and a Board Member for Maximizing Children’s Ministry International.
Phillip and his wife, Dr. Ellen Moore (Children’s Pastor at The Ark Church), reside in Walden. We’re loving the “empty nest” and ability to travel! Both our grown children attended and graduated MISD – Josh went on to attend Texas A&M and Meagan attended Sam Houston State University.
Shannan Reid is the Executive Director of Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce serving the business community in the greater Montgomery Area.
Her background is in public education with a teaching certification in Fine Arts/Dance and Speech Communications. She also holds a Masters Degree in Education Leadership with a Principal certification at the secondary level. Shannan has had the privilege of directing 2 award-winning dance teams, developed a state recognized dance curriculum, and taught in the classroom 11 years before moving to Montgomery.
Shannan’s husband is Russell Reid, who teaches Engineering and Project Lead The Way classes at Montgomery high school. They have 2 boys, Caleb and Ethan. Caleb graduated from MHS in 2017 and Ethan is in the class of 2021.
She is excited to participate in the Education Foundation to combine her passions of the business community and the school district to make great partnerships to further the mission of MISD.
Tracy has been an active stay at home since moving to Montgomery 10 years ago. She was a kindergarten and first grade teacher in Alvin ISD at Hood-Case Elementary for 10 years. The last 5 years at Alvin ISD she was a team leader and a new teacher math trainer for all incoming first grade teachers.
Tracy graduated with honors from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1998 with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies along with a Reading Endorsement.
Tracy has worked many roles in PTO/PTA as Vice President (Lone Star Elementary) to President (Montgomery Intermediate). She is also Vice President of Philanthropy for the Montgomery Monarch Chapter of the National Charity League of Mothers and Daughters for the past 2 years. She was on the Political Action Committee for MISD when the district bond came up for election. Along with the above, she has been on the MISD Education Foundation board for 4 years and an interictal part of the Gala planning.
Tracy lives in Crown Oaks Subdivision with her husband David of 17 years. They have boy/girl twins, Parker (16) and Emma (16) who attend Lake Creek High School. Tracy and her family LOVE living in Montgomery and “giving back” is a way of life for them.
Representative Will Metcalf is a 6th generation resident of Montgomery County and an accomplished business leader. His experience in the financial sector gives Metcalf the skills to be a knowledgeable and a conservative voice on behalf of the people of Montgomery County. As a state representative, Metcalf works hard to protect Montgomery County values, keeping Texas a shining example for business and job creation. Metcalf brings a new generation of conservative leadership to the state legislature, and continues to be an active member of the Montgomery County community.
Metcalf has worked his way through the local banking industry, helping Montgomery County families and small businesses achieve their financial goals. Currently, Metcalf serves as Vice President & Director of Business Development at Spirit of Texas Bank. Metcalf is active in the development of the north Montgomery County area as well, through involvement in the real estate market where he manages investments in Montgomery County and the surrounding areas.
Representative Metcalf was raised in Conroe and is a graduate of Conroe ISD and Sam Houston State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. Rep. Metcalf and his wife Megan have been married for 11 years and are the proud parents of beautiful seven-year old twin daughters, Amelia and Elizabeth. The Metcalf`s attend Fellowship of Montgomery Church.
