First grade scientists are learning all about habitats. Students from Mrs. Griffith's class and Mrs. Adams's class invited friends and faculty to their very own habitat showcase to display and share their findings from research of habitats such as the ocean, forests, the tundra, and wetlands. Their expert knowledge showed as they discussed facts such as animals that live there, plants that grow there, and what the weather is like. Details of how an animal might eat or move or look were paid close attention to when they created their showcase boxes and books of facts. Their feelings of accomplishment showed! And, their confidence in managing a task from start to finish makes Lone Star proud!
