Montgomery ISD students Jordan Jackson and Carson Rutherford have qualified in Barrel Racing to compete in the Junior National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada, this December!
The Jr. NFR is a national competition for youth ages 16 and younger to compete in the junior version of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo (NFR). A group of 140 girls, including the top three finishers from each race and the top 20 in points overall, qualify to compete in the finals. The NFR and the Jr. NFR are held at the same time giving the younger competitors a chance to mingle with the professionals and pick up tips along the way.
