On Thursday, April 24, 2008, the MJH boys tennis team successfully defended their district 18-AAAA title with a winning score of 163-5. Congratulations go out to Brad Hinkle, Hunter Ward, Kyle Zigan, Steven Klawinsky, Sam Marks, Eric Hijuelos, Brandon Miller, Colton Kerr, Justin Green, Mike South, and Hunter Harding.
On Friday, it was the girls turn. Not to be outdone, the lady bears tennis team also defended their own title with a winning score of 166-2. Congratulations go out to Taylor Hadash, Dana Glaser, Nicki Neel, Anya Ruiz, Rebecca Roy, Marianne Locht, Sherri Quach, Jenna Ross, Sydney Alford, and Sonja Rangraj.
Not only were these decisive victories, but these student athletes also exhibited great sportsmanship in winning their 4th District Championship title in a row. Once again, I am proud to work with such a talented and gracious and well behaved group of kids.
