Following the results of the recent online community survey, the Board approved Calendar D as the Montgomery Independent School District Instructional Calendar for 2008-2009.
The vote tallies for all four calendars were as follows:
- Calendar A received 209 votes
- Calendar B received 37 votes
- Calendar C received 164 votes
- Calendar D received 308 votes
The votes came from parents, community members, staff, and students.
Calendar D calls for student instruction to begin on Monday August 25, 2008. The first semester and second semester are each 90 days in length.
