Social Studies

The
purpose of our language arts program is to teach students to use
language effectively in oral and written communication.
Structured activities in grammar, spelling, oral language and
listening skills strengthen and extend
language competency. Reading instruction includes vocabulary,
skill development, and reading for comprehension and enjoyment.
Composition skills are presented in a step-by-step writing
process, leading to the application of these skills in independent
writing.
