Student Council members organized a toy drive for the month of December.  The donated toys were donated to the Marine Corps League.  The Marines came and collected the toys so that they could be distributed to children in this area.

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program was established to collect new, unwrapped toys and to distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted. The purpose is to create hope in these children that will lead them to be patriotic and responsible citizens and community leaders as they grow up.

Honor Bears are students that are passing all of their classes and have good attendance. They can’t have any office referrals, lunch detentions, or ISS. Text Box: Even if you have straight A’s, you may not be an Honor Bear if you have excessive absences or an office referral. This year the students that meet these requirements get to go to the performance of “The Gingerbread Man”. It will be brought to our school by the Express Children’s Theatre.
