About MISD
Celebrating Success
Time and again, we hear how MISD is a place where kids benefit from
the dedication of the teachers, staff, and administrators who serve it. It’s
testimony to the trust the community has placed in us to educate their
children, and our belief in the success of this mission.
The 2007 Bond Issue projects advance the cause of a solid
education for all children of the District. School construction,
enhanced transportation, acquisition of land, and new activities
centers will mean a more meaningful and rounded experience
for the kids of MISD. These are your projects, and we are proud you
have entrusted us to husband the rich educational resources they will
produce.

The Bond Projects
School Projects
MISD is building a new elementary school as well as a ninth grade center.
Renovation and repairs will also be made to Montgomery Elementary,
the Intermediate school, and the Middle School.
Ag Center & Natatorium
To provide additional opportunities for MISD students, a new agricultural
center and a new natatorium will be built.
Facility and Future
Along with area growth comes the need of planning for the future.
The 2007 Bond Issue will produce a new transportation and distribution
center, and land for future district use will be purchased at today’s prices.
