Welcome to Montgomery High School’s Home Page. We are excited that you are interested in inquiring about the “Home of the Bears.” MHS has a rich tradition of excellence in academic and extracurricular programs. We are extremely proud of the commitment to academic excellence from our students, staff and parents. This commitment is also evident by the support that our school community provides. Thank you to all involved in making our school successful.
As we begin the 2007/2008 school year, we took a moment to reflect on the phenomenal 2006/2007 school year. The year came to an exciting close with MHS earning a sixth place finish in the state for the prestigious UIL “Lone Star Cup” Award. This award is presented to the school in each classification that earns the most points for academic and athletic competition success. Congratulations to MHS for its first ever top 10 finish.
The 2007/2008 school theme is MHS: Expectations Begin with Me. The challenge this year is for everyone involved with Montgomery High School to accept personal accountability for student success. Our expectation is for 100% of our students to succeed. We are taking personal accountability for the way we do our jobs every day. The staff at MHS will be asking themselves daily, what can I do to help students. Please join us in the effort to help every student be successful.

- New student registration for the 2008-2009 school year will be July 31 through August 8, 2008 from 8 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. After that, registration is by appointment only from August 11 through August 22, 2008.
