The students at Lone Star Elementary had a very exciting visit with Sam Bromley, the author of Hunka Chunka Monkey! Mr. Bromley shared how Hunka Chunka Monkey loves chocolate chip cookies dipped in double fudge sauce and covered with ice cream! Hunka Chunka Monkey realizes that he needs to get in shape to have more fun with his friends.
The PTA was excited to sponsor this program to promote healthy and active lifestyles as they prepare for LSE's first annual Bear Run on October 8th from 9 am- 12 pm. See you there!
